If the KEYWORD(a word that gives idea of what the page’d content is all about) is placed in the beginning of the URL it can go a long way in helping the site’s SEO ranking. Additionally, shorter URLs typically see greater success than longer ones because they are easier to read. When someone is searching through Google, they are looking for relevant keywords. Having the ability to keep your URL short, but also explain the content provided in your link is important in increasing your site’s SEO ranking.
